Initiatives we’re involved in
Through our associated partners we’ve been fortunate enough to play a key role in several projects

CTC.AFRICA
The goal of this initiative is to increase the level of Clinical Trial investments in Africa by increasing the visibility of African clinical trialists and research sites as well as making transparent and accessible individual country regulatory and ethics procedures to inform decision making by sponsors. The Clinical Trials Community provides a platform for constant engagement among key stakeholders to increase efficiency and promote steady collaborations.
Digitisation of NRA Workflows
Through our partnership with the Novus3 & the South African Health Products and Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA), we’ve started the design and build process of their Engagement Portal. This will be an online platform developed for the South African medicine's regulator, to digitize the application and review process of various application workflows. This platform reduces the problems inherent to paper-based submissions thereby increasing the turnaround time for reviews and allowing for real-time application tracking.

EDCTP Alumni Network
The purpose of this assignment was to increase the impact of its fellowship schemes by providing an online platform where EDCTP Fellows (current and past) can interact. The implementation of an alumni interaction platform will provide an excellent opportunity for EDCTP to track and interact with funded EDCTP fellows and monitor the impact these funding schemes are making to increasing critical mass of African researchers on the continent.
